Geocache Description:

There is nothing to find at the posted coordinates.  But the cache isn't too far from here.

How do you get the coordinates, you ask?  You complete my Adventure Lab "Battle of Lansdown Hill". You can find further detail about the App for Adventure Labs here: https://labs.geocaching.com. If you already have the App then search on nearby Adventures to find Battle of Lansdown Hill".

Direct link to the Adventure

Once you have completed the Adventure Lab, look at the "Journal" for Location 5.

Note:  The cache is near, but of course not in a stone wall.   No need to touch the wall.

Once you have found this cache, the quickest way back to the parking coordinates is to continue on into the next field, and head diagonally across to the gate to the main Lansdown Road, then turn right.   However, this involves walking along the verge of a busy road.  It is longer, but nicer to go back the way you came.    I especially would not want to walk along Lansdown Road with small children.

The primary method for Stage 3 of the Adventure Lab requires good data signal to complete it. It worked fine for me but may not work for all networks, so I have added an alternative just in case.   If you have signal it will be more fun and save you a few steps.. but if you don't it will just require a short diversion.

This cache is part of an extension to my series of puzzle caches hidden in the same area, which I've called the Lansdown Puzzle Series. They make an "L" shape on the map. See bookmark for the complete list.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Regarding the "Dangerous Animals Nearby".   Please do not be alarmed.  The Adder is our only venomous snake, the shy adder can be spotted basking in the sunshine in woodland glades and on heathlands.  You are very unlikely to come across one here, and I have never seen one.   But it is possible as they can be found across the country, except for the Isles of Scilly, the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man.
