Bunker on Howard Traditional Cache

Another Coffs Harbour bunker.  This bunker is right next to the road, though you probably wouldnt spot it unless you know it is there... it has been swallowed by lantana and is barely visible.

The entrance to the bunker does look a little daunting and there is the usual debris and grafitti we infortunately come to expect at these sites but it is worth having a look, each of the bunkers in Coffs Harbour is different, this one is larger than it looks from the outside.   Please take care on the steep bank leading to the entrance of the bunker, would be slippery after any rain. We were in the bunker just on dark and used our phone torches to explore and they were enough..you will require some sort of torch to better explore the bunker even during the day.
