J&LA: Walked this with the second to last finders & commented that the stones were being overrun by low vegetation. The count is also getting further off with all the new burials since this cache came out. Instead of redoing everything, we'll just let this one go. The container has been removed. In case of zombies, skip this cache - it's not worth the risk. Provided it is safe, this cache will take you on a scavenger hunt, a drive & a search. Be sure you do the math before heading out. If you see a billboard at your final coords, you are in the wrong place - do the math below to fix it. Also, keep in mind this cache was placed in 2013, any newer graves may not be included. For X, there are 2 stones that might work, but will not match the 4 in a row.
The final container is NOT at the posted coordinates. It IS where you'll begin gathering clues.The 1st incarnation of this hide was archived shortly out of the gates due to an unhappy landowner. So, we decided to revive their cache with a few minor changes.
Alert: You are about to download a file that contains further details needed to find this geocache. As the cache owner, I represent that this file is safe to download although it has not been checked by Groundspeak or by the reviewer for possible malicious content. Download this file at your own risk. Begin at the posted coordinates. Download the mp3 directly from here for instructions to find the cache. The clues will give you N 41 AB.CDE and W 096 UV.XYZ, but then you must subtract 820 from the North & add 1302 to the West to get the final location. ***Also note: the clue after "the hands" is misleading. You'll know you have the correct stone when the math results in a positive integer.
The clues are all located in an active cemetery, so please be respectful of the grounds. NO night caching is allowed. Also, you will need something other than a hook & pole to get this one. It is *permanently* affixed to the tree. Posting photos of the cemetery is fine but not the cache or final location, please. Logs containing spoilers will be deleted.
