Welcome. This is our first cache. After our 100th cache find, we decided it was time to hide our own. Almost all caches in our area are bison tubes so we wanted to put out something larger with swag.
The cache is located on the outskirts of our 3 acre property. We own all land with TALL PINE TREES. Just park in our grass and follow the mowed path. DO NOT go in the corn field-this is NOT our land. NO NIGHT CACHING. Probably want to bring bug spray. We figured this was a good area for a cache since we live right on the snowmobile trail and horse trail.
Bring your own pen. This is a family friendly cache and we stocked it with NEW toys when we put it out. We will try to do our best to keep this maintained and stocked for ALL ages and genders. If the cache seems to be low on one gender or age-please let us know in a message. We even tried to put a few adult items in. This cache is filled with toys that we hope inspire creativity and get kids excited to be in nature caching.
The rules of this cache are simple…
1-TRADE appropriately-please note that official geocaching rules state, "If you take something from the geocache, leave something of equal or greater value." Rules also state that trackables are not tradable items.
2-We want to maintain a well stocked cache. No one likes finding a large cache filled with...air, it's disappointing-we want to avoid this. Our goal is to get kids to be EXCITED about caching.
3-HAVE FUN!
4. Do NOT place bullets in this or any cache. It is not safe or appropriate. If a forest fire happens or a high heat scenario, it can set off the bullet. We have found too many bullets in this and other caches and it is not ok for the safety of all cachers, dnr, and forest fire fighters.
