Geocache Description:

Easy park and grab cache.  There is scenery, trails, and convenient parking.  Bring some boots, snacks, and water if you have time for a quiet hike, and enjoy. Please note: if there are others around a geocache watching you, please come back later. Geocaches do cost money.

In "honor" of Irma, a tropical storm that made its presence know here last week, I thought I would take an opportunity to place another geocache across the Duck River Reservoir and Dam, directly across the water from my other one.  Also, today I turn 51-yrs-old, so this is another great reason to place a new cache.  :)  If you are searching for a geocache that begins with an "I," then this one is for you, as well.

You must approach this one from HWY 278.   There are two great hiking trails on this side, and if you have time to explore, I would suggest bringing some snacks and water with you since the trails go almost around the whole reservoir, with plans already in the works of making it a complete loop.
