Es un molino hidráulico de principios del siglo XIX, restaurado recientemente y ahora, sede del Museo de la Mina Vieja.
Esta abierto al público desde el año 2000.

La Mina Vella
Los orígenes de la Mina Vieja, se remontan al principio del siglo XIX. Genís Graupera Ferrer, farmacéutico de Vilassar de Mar, convencido de la necesidad de traer agua de mina al pueblo, obtuvo el 1829 los derechos de perforar la cuenca de Cabrils. Pese a tener la concesión, no consiguió el apoyo necesario ni la financiación para iniciar las perforaciones.
Vilassar de Mar tuvo que esperar la constitución de una sociedad privada, para que en 1847 empezara a servir agua al pueblo. La sociedad, formada inicialmente por diez personas, había iniciado la construcción de la mina pocos años antes. Esta primera asociación se creó con la idea de suministrar agua corriente a las casas de Vilassar de Mar, que hasta aquel momento no había suministro y cada uno se hacia su pozo.
La venta del agua debería cubrir de la inversión hecha por los diez socios fundadores y además, obtener beneficios. Viendo que la empresa no resultaba rentable decidieron vender la mina y los derechos de perforar a las familias de Vilassar de Mar. El 1863 sesenta familias de Vilassar de Mar compraron la mina y los derechos de perforar, fundando la Comunidad de Propietarios de la Mina Vieja, que firmó sus primeros estatutos el 1886. |
El Museu De La Mina Vella
 En el patio del museo, podréis encontrar la estación meteorológica automática que proporciona los datos meteorológicos oficiales de Vilassar de Mar. Nos informa sobre la temperatura, humedad, dirección y fuerza del viento, la cantidad de precipitación y la radiación solar.
La cascada del museo reconstruida a partir de materiales originales nos explica cómo eran los lavaderos domésticos que se llenaban con los sobrantes de agua de las minas.
El pozo número 1 es uno de los más anchos de la comarca. Construido a principios del siglo XX, tiene un diámetro de tres metros y una profundidad de cuarenta y cinco.
En la parte trasera, encontraremos el "Trastejador" donde se mezclan las aguas de los distintos pozos y canalizaciones y una pequeña estación fotovoltaica.
El museo está formado por cinco plantas:
En el nivel de la calle encontraremos dos salas de exposiciones, una dedicada a la historia de la Mina Vella y la otra a la distribución del agua en Vilassar de Mar.
En la primera planta, tenemos la biblioteca
En el primer bajo, la sala tres, con explicaciones y herramientas propios de la búsqueda y perforación del agua
En las dos plantas de más abajo, está el Molí de les Alzinetes, con sus ruedas y sistemas de canalización del agua.

El horario de apertura del museo, es:
De miercoles a viernes: 9.00 a 13.00 h y de 17.00 a 20.00 h.
Sabados y domingos de 11.00 a 14.00.

La Mina Vella
The origins of the Mina Vieja, dating back to the early nineteenth century. Graupera Genís Ferrer, pharmaceutical of Vilassar de Mar, convinced of the need to bring mine water to the people, won the 1829 the drilling rights for the Cabrils basin. El Museu De La Mina Vella
In the courtyard of the museum, you will find the automatic weather station that provides the official weather data from Vilassar de Mar. It reports on temperature, humidity, wind direction and strength, the amount of precipitation and solar radiation. The museum cascade reconstructed from original materials explains how domestic laundries were filled with leftover water from the mines. The well number 1 is one of the widest in the region. Built in the early twentieth century, has a diameter of three meters and a depth of forty-five. In the back, find the "Trastejador" which mixes the water of different wells and pipelines and a small photovoltaic station.
The museum consists of five floors:
On the street level will be two showrooms, one dedicated to the history of Mina Vella and the other in water distribution Vilassar de Mar.
