Geocache Description:

Across the road stands Mill Cottage, it was close to here that a Old Post Mill stood until 1900. It was owned by a Mr Thomas groble a baker at Lydd who also owned the old Smock Mill which stood close to the cemetery gates. This Mill burned down on the 25th february 1900 when the local fire Brigade were called out to a `raging fire` sadly they were unable to save the bulding. Being me i peeped inside the cottage grounds and saw remains of some type of buildings, i wonder if this may be part of the actual mill? I will add more info when i find out. You are looking for something smaller than a film pot. Please replace carefully so it doesn`t fall out.please be aware of muggles here. Thank you
