This is the third in the Giant series. Careful parallel parking outside the fence alongside SH3 near to the Course entrance is possible. The area is flat. The cache is a pill case with outer appropriate camouflage. Originally a wedge was needed but from Aug 2016 ,following redesigning, a swinging putting action is more suitable.
One hole is played over the path near the Giant Golfball so caution may be required to avoid errant drivers. If you nonchalantly hold a club then your geocaching actions may go undetected. Even more so if you walk around GZ muttering. Once found and the card filled in reposition carefully as if a shot is dropped then , apart from a penalty, the course may have to close. Players will need to finish with a gentle low swinging shot into the hole. The Villages of Aria and Piopio closed their respective 9 hole courses and in 1980 combined to create this 18 hole country course beside SH3. The course is well maintained but at times fairway mowing is carried out by woolly 4 legged animals which can also act as pointers for golf shots. As one would expect in a rural area the costs are low.
