Sea Pines Duo: **WE ARCHIVED THIS CACHE AT LAND'S END, HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC, SHORTLY AFTER HURRICANE MATTHEW STRUCK ON OCTOBER 4, 2016.**THE CACHE SITE IS NOW IN THE WATER AND PLUFF MUD AND IS INACCESSIBLE AS A RESULT OF THE SEVERE EROSION OF THE BEACHES.

PEOPLE STILL SEARCH FOR THIS CACHE AND WRITE OF THEIR FRUSTRATION. ONCE AGAIN, THIS CACHE NO LONGER EXISTS!

Geocache Description:

This is a 3-part scenic hunt in a beautiful section of the Sea Pines Plantation, dolphins galore; well worth the $5 gate fee. Picnic tables and restaurants are available. Bring deet for the pesty no-see-ems.

Leg 1: Go to the coordinates (waypoint) published above. You can park your car or bike nearby. Walk the rest of the way. Under a red fish, you will see a number. To the first three digits, add 288 for the coordinates to the next stage: 32 07.090N, 80 49.---W.

Leg 2: Walk or bike only to the waypoint you have just calculated. Here you will find another set of coordinates leading to the microcache.

Leg 3: Secure your bike to a tree and walk. Microcache is in a cylindrical tube containing a pen and log.
