The Hunter's Shack Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

A nice big cache for trading lots of goodies. There is an obvious turnout on the west side of road..and the shack is quite obvious. It is a large round cammo plastic container. Placed on a clear sunny day with good coords!

We noticed that there were almost no caches out this way so we are going to make it a fun caching area with some more Hamboys caches in the area. It is a nice drive from Rutherford and the Silverado Trail past Lake Hennesey and up through Chiles and Pope Valley..especially in the winter months. We really hate poison oak, so we always place away from the stuff. This old burnt out and scrapped place looks like an old creepy Friday the 13th movie set. Good parking close by. It is NOT in any of the structures. they look a bit unsafe. Lots of broken glass and animal bones (Deer). I think it may be an old miners camp or hunters place? not sure.. Have fun. There is a 2 pound British coin for FTF Prize.. which is probably worth about $3 U.S. Have fun with our caches.
