Geocache Description:

There is a first to find trinket. I set it up because I want people to get outdoor’s and enjoy nature.  The trail is used by muggles.

The James R. Kanik trail is named after the Development Authority’s first chairman and executive director. The trail is 2.2 miles long and is built in the Army Sewer Line right-of-way. It parallels U.S. Route 11 near the hamlet of Calcium and has two well-marked access points and parking lots at either end.

The trail is made of small gravel stones, is fairly level and mostly in the sun. Plan accordingly. The trail is open for year-round public use, free of charge. No motorized vehicles are permitted.

Congratulations to jehunter1008 first to find.

There is no need to go behind the bridge to reach the cache, it is located on the same side as the trail.
