This non-winter friendly cache is located at Coac Falls on the Coac Stream. Travel west from Mactaquac, or east from Nackawic on rte 105. Park along the 105 at N45 58.799 W067 09.437.
Follow the old road N/E. This could be done on a mountain bike during dry conditions. Turn west at N45 59.054, W067 09.214, and follow this old road until you get to the cable gate. At the cable gate bear hard right, and head east (at N45 59.228, W067 09.281). Turn N/E at N45 59.469, W067 09.333. At N46 00.066, W067 08.946 you will find the final trail to the falls. To this point the walking is easy on old grassed over logging roads, and is a steady very moderate uphill climb.
Head down into the gully to the falls. This is where the fun begins!The cache is very well hidden on the WEST bank of the stream at the top of the falls.
I climbed up to the location of the cache to place it..., you can get it from above. If so I would suggest a length of good cordage be used to tie off to a stout tree. (15-20 ft should do.) "If you don't know knots..., tie lots!"
Distance from parking to the cache is approx 2.7kms one way.
