Geocache Description:

This geocache is placed as part of

We hope that you enjoy this series, and are able to discover many of the places
that make the area unique and special.

Hubbard Valley, one of Medina County's beautiful parks, has much to offer its visitors.
There is a 21-acre lake for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking,
and hiking trails around the lake or through the woods.
During the springtime, enjoy a myriad of wildflowers as you hike the Trillium Trail or Sugar Woods Loop.
A picnic shelter is available by reservation for group events,
and individual tables and grills are here for your family picnic.
Children will enjoy the playground that is near the northeast portion of the lake.
For wintertime fun, there is a sledding hill, or you may enjoy the trails on your cross-country skis.

Park hours are from 8:00 a.m. to dusk. Absolutely NO night caching!

This geocache is a multi-cache, consisting of 4 stages + the final geocache itself.
All stages are hidden within 10' of the trail, and absolutely NO BUSHWHACKING is required.
The distance from the parking lot to the 4 stages, to the final geocache location,
and back to the starting point is about 0.9 miles.

Trails may be wet or muddy at times, so please wear appropriate footwear.
Bug spray might be a good idea too!

At each stage, you will find two sets of numbers (three digits each).
Plug these numbers into the following:

N 41 02.XXX W 081 51.YYY

The posted coordinates will take you to Stage 1, which is located on the Sugar Woods Loop.
Begin your hike by following the trail at the northwest corner of the parking lot,
turning left when the trail intersects another and crossing over the bridge.

Additional logging REQUEST: Please take a photo of yourself/your caching team
at the bridge and post to your log.

I have taken coordinate readings many times over the course
of many months and in varying weather conditions.
I have not gotten consistent readings, so I have been VERY generous with hints.
L or R in each hint refers to which side of the trail you will find a metal tag.

This geocache is placed with permission of the Medina County Parks, permit #105.
