We will be picking up trash. We will also be bringing a lot of trackables to swap, trade, or get. Thank you for coming to the event!!
Details
We will be bringing extra gloves and trashbags, so no need to bring supplies. We will also bring coffee. Because this is a CITO, however, please bring your own reusable cup (i.e., we won't have paper cups).
About this location
The Irving Street Library has a park right in front of it with a geocache (Honor the Library) and a geocache in a parking lot across the street (Perez's last stand). Both cache owners talked about how much this library meant to them. When we visited it, we were shocked at how much trash was in the park. It was everywhere. So bad that we couldn't find Honor the Library amonst all of the trash. We would like to help restore this area to what these two owners rembered.
