Geocache Description:

Fleur-de-lis was commonly used as a symbol for north on maps but now known more for the Boy Scouts. This is the World Scout Emblem and the plumes of the fleur-de-lis are symbols for Service to Others, Duty to God and Obedience to the Scout Law. In this cache is a bunch of my old scout badges up for trade. FTF can pick one of their choosing. So to find the cache follow the letterbox directions below or go to the coordinates above and GOOD LUCK!



This is a new cache formally called "Frogger" the directions have been change as well as the container, stamp and logbook please feel free to log this cache again under its new name fleur-de-lis as it will be a different experience then Frogger. I know it will show you logged this twice.

1) Park at N49'01.876 W122'39.238 but don't block the gates
2) Walk west toward emergency access gate
3) Walk past this gate on the left side
4) Head west down this gravel road till you see a post on the left side
5) This post will have an arrow to McLean Scout Camp
6) Head down this trail left of the gravel road
7) Make your way to the stairs
8) Walk down the stairs
9) At the bottom is another post pointing you toward Camp McLean
10) Head west on the paved path which part of the old 16th st.
11) Before you hit the creek, there is a fence post set back about 20 feet
12) Walk past the post toward the big tree
13) Look for the tree with the big base to it
14) You should find the cache in the hole of this tree base

SCOUTS
1) From McLean Scout Camp
2) Find the trail that takes you to these coordinates
3) N49' 01.882 W122' 39.525
4) There is a sign at these coordinates
5) The sign says "Camp McLean No Trespassing Private Property"
6) From here head east on this paved path which is part of the old 16th st.
7) Walk east till you cross the creek
8) Start counting 8 road posts on your left
9) After the 8th road post look for the one fence post
10) Make a left before this post
11) Look for the tree with the big base to it
12) You should find the cache in the hole of this tree base

This is a letterbox cache so it does contain a stamp and ink pad, as well as a scout geocoin to discover. The stamp ,ink pad and coin are not for trade. Please use the stamp in your logbook if you have one and please use your personal stamp in the cache log book or just log your name as normal.
