Geocache Description:

This Cache ( 4 in total including the final container) was hidden with help from n.s.e.w.where? in an attempt to attract cachers to this part of the world to uncover some of Wedderburn’s hidden treasures.
I hope this cache is as joyful to find as it was to hide.
Don’t forget to take your time and take in the history of this neat little town.

The fist Co-ordinates (36 25.077s 143 36.811e) will see you at the main information board in Wedderburn where you will need to fill in the gaps with information obtained from the board.
The information you will need for way point 2 is ----
What year did Major Thomas Mitchell come to Wedderburn 18FG
A national school (common school number HIJ Wedderburn) opened in 1861 in the Wesleyan Chapel.
By the late 1CDE’s there were numerous hotels, butchers and bakers.
The map reference number for Lodden arts = AB
Once information is collected head of to the 2nd stage of this cache at 36 AB.CDE / 143 FG.HIJ
At way point 2 you will be searching for a micro containing co-ordinates for the 3rd stage of this cache.
At Waypoint 3 you will be standing at a well known site in Wedderburn and again information from this board will help you find the final container containing a log and small swaps if needed.

What year did Thomas arrive in Melbourne? 1??? - 40 =KLM
Thomas’s height in cm (rounded off) +229 =NOP
