Marsh Road, Arroyo Honda Road and Mt. Day Road are rural, low traffic volume County roads in the vicinity of Calaveras Reservoir northeast of Milpitas. The County installed a gate at the end of the paved section of Marsh Road. This gate was established in the 1970s for fire season closures of County roads for the protection of the public. This location contains a nice little turn around area off the main road and a location for a mini micro cache. Make sure to check out the view of the valley below on your way back down.
