#6 The Dogliest Detective and the Case of the Old Photo
Toby kept trying to take in all the interesting displays and wares at the outdoor Anchorage Market on a sunny Saturday afternoon. But his boss, Captain McGruff, kept barking out orders to keep up.
"The Agency isn't paying you to have fun at The Market, Toby. I might admit you are good at finding lost cats, so I can see why the Agency wants to see if you can find lost boys. But you haven't proved yourself more than that."
"This client is the granddaughter of a well-known artist and children's book illustrator from a town in the Alaska bush, so I expect you to pretend to understand the artwork."
Toby and the Captain McGruff soon found the booth displaying the artwork of their client. "Thank you for meeting me while I am displaying at the Market. I am hiring you detectives to help me find out who is the boy in this photograph," the woman said as she slid an old photograph out from a hidden compartment under the second step.
"I found it stored with other important photographs and letters from my grandmother's childhood, so he must be important to her, but I have no idea who it might be. All I know is that is dated from around 1925."
"I am afraid the boy is a lost brother of my grandmother killed by a bear, or maybe a childhood friend, or maybe someone else the family doesn't talk about. I'll pay good money to find out."
Toby studied the photo while Captain McGruff was getting the contract signed and collecting an unusually large retainer fee.
"Unless you are sure this photo was taken in Alaska, I think I know the name of the boy." Toby said.
"You have seen other photos of the boy before?" McGruff asked sarcastically.
"I have never seen a photo of the boy. I didn't even know he was a real person." said Toby as he turned and headed toward the other booths, with his tail wagging. "And now I have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy the Market."
To find the physical cache, you need to report to certitude the two word real name the boy in the photograph is known by without any spaces between the two words.
You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
