Welcome to the Gamlin Lake Trail System. Trails are well maintained and clearly marked. This area is open to recreational use. No vehicles, however. Pick up a trail map at the entrance, where there is parking and a vault toilet. There are a number of caches in the area. I thought there should be more! Enjoy your hike, and BRING INSECT REPELLANT in mosquito/fly season.
Signal bounces like crazy in this forested area - but it is cool and shady, and great for summer hiking. Look for the birch bark at a cedar tree. Please make the effort to rehide well. If you need it, there is lots more camo available.
