Geocache Description:

The Hiawassee Treasure Island Lighthouse (GC6N9HN) will have a planned shutdown for maintenance on August 21, 2017 at 2:34 PM.  The repair crew should be able to minimize the outage and have things back up and running in a few minutes.

 

Power will be gradually removed starting just after 1 PM. Shut Down will be complete by 2:33:58 PM. Repairs are expected to take 2 minutes and 27.8 seconds. Power will then be gradually restored and the lighthouse should be back up to full power by 4 PM.

 

Read logs for possible "boat" pooling / taxi and other info. Event starts at 1 and ends at 4. Come for all or part of that time.
