Fun State Fact:
Idaho was admitted to the Union on July 3, 1890, as the 43rd state. Idaho is the 14th largest state, larger than that of all of New England! Idaho is the 7th least densely populated of the 50 United States. Idaho's largest city and capital is Boise. Idaho's nickname is the "Gem State", because nearly every known type of gemstone has been found here. In addition, Idaho is one of only two places in the world where star garnets can be found in any significant quantities. Additionally Idaho is sometimes called the "Potato State" due to its popular crop of oversized potatos. The state motto is Esto Perpetua (Latin for "Let it be forever").
Some things to remember when doing this series
* This is a desert; home to many animals, wild and domestic. Please respect it.
* This artwork has 51 caches.
* Make sure you have plenty of water and snacks.
* Carry out what you take in. Don’t leave any trash behind.
* There are many access points but none of them are from highway 16.
* We had good Verizon cell coverage at all but one cache, your results may vary.
* Most important of all --> Have fun! <--
* Be sure to bring your camera for the view at the first cache.
* There are extreme slopes to the north. Night cache at your own peril.
