Geocache Description:

Matlock Station was opened by Midland Railway in 1850 then known as Matlock Bridge. The buildings designed by Sir Joseph Paxton are now Grade II listed. The Station is now served by both Netork Rail and Peak Rail, so It is possible to see modern('sh) commuter trains and heritage Steam trains in the same station.

A magnetic keysafe with only a log sheet so BYOP. Also could get busy so be stealthy. This cache is not on Station property and could be a considered Cache & Dash from nearby Snitterton Road.
