The Kinzua Cachers will be hosting the Winterfest Geomeet at Pavilion Number 2 in the Chapman State Park. This is the pavilion with walls, picnic tables, and a fireplace inside. The geomeet will begin at 10:30 AM and you will have about 4 hours to mingle with your fellow geocachers in the Pavilion and hang out around the fireplace taking advantage of lots of opportunities to swap geocaching stories or get a hint about your most recent nemesis cache.
There will be lots of fun caching to do in the park as there will be some new caches published just prior to this event and lots of good food available to help us all brave the elements. There will be the usual hot drinks, cookies, travel bug exchange and lots of good companionship around the fireplace inside the pavilion. Feel free to bring a tray of cookies or snacks to share with your fellow geocachers.
This is The Eleventh Annual Winterfest Geomeet.
Please note: This event will happen SNOW or NOT!
