A two stage cache that begins at the Northern terminus of the blue/yellow blazed Compounce Ridge Trail. Park at the commuter lot off Sunnydale Ave.
I love to hike this section of the Southern Tunxis trail. The winter is especially nice because of the views along the ridgeline. Try hiking and caching along the trail to the Southern terminus near the Southington Gun Club. It makes for a long hike and a challenging day.
The first stage is a semi-permanent cache providing the coordinates to the final. The final is a small camouflaged lock and lock box traditionally hidden with a logbook and a few tradeables. Please hide again well and most of all have fun!
