Come see where Thomas Edison invented the light bulb!! To find the
cache you're better off parking behind the light tower at the
corner of Tower and Frederic (n40 33.719 w074 20.347). The cache is
in the woods behind the tower. Take the north-westerly path to get
started. The hike is short. Cache is a clear 2qt. Rubbermaid
container with a white lid. Inside you'll find the log book (make
sure you sign it), a pen, and some assorted items. All I ask is
that you rehide it well, and please make sure the container remains
air-tight. And of course, use your head, use stealth, and have fun.
Wow... I can't believe my cache is 10 years old!! I'd like to
thank the plethora of people who have found it for rehiding it
well, signing my log book, and keeping the spirit of geocaching
alive. As for those who haven't succeeded... keep on trying!!
I'd also like to encourage everyone who visits my cache to also
visit the small museum dedicated to the lifetime of hard work that
Thomas Edison gave for the betterment of mankind.
I have no plans for retiring this cache. This cache will be
there as long as there are people still interested in finding it.
In fact, I'd like to someday hold the record for the longest hidden
cache, and cache with the most visitors.
Also, please note that this cache is NOT abandoned. I live in
the area and am available by email to answer any questions.
Thanks
