Geocache Description:

This is a quick park and grab geocache that will enable you to quickly locate the geocache but introduce you to one of the wonderful preserved spaces in the town of Bethany, CT. There is no designated parking but parking on this rural road with minimal traffic is easy enough.

This geocache is at the Niederman-Sizer Field, a beautiful 3.25 acre scenic preserve donated to the Bethany Land Trust by James and Miriam Niederman in 2005.  There is a beautiful view of the West Rock Ridge rising to the east.  In addition, there is a plaque commemorating the contributions of Stephen Collins, Professor Emeritus at SCSU and founder of the Bethany Land Trust.  This is an easy cache designed to expose you to this beautiful space.  It is my first geocache, so feedback is encouraged.  A pin for the First-to-Find is included! Also are some trackables including a trackable Lego, and some swag.
