This is a simple multicache that should take about half an hour to complete and makes a nice circular walk if you also find the nearby traditional cache "Hidden amongst the orchids" (GC2QJBY).
The listed coordinates are for the parking area (Busketts Lawn, an official New Forest car park). The entrance to the car park is easy to miss so we've added a reference point to the additional waypoints section below.
Bring sturdy footwear as the woodlands can be very muddy especially after wet weather.
TO FIND THE GEOCACHE...
All you have to do is to visit the cricket pitch (see waypoints), calculate the final coordinates using the clues below and then follow the arrow on your GPS straight through the forest.
A = How many nail holes in the horse shoe above the Bartley Cricket Club hut door?
On the eastern side of the pitch there is a memorial. Look carefully at the name and count the letters.
B = First name
C = Middle name
D = Number of diagonals on the metal gate at the entrance to the cricket pitch

There is no need to follow the private gravel road that leads away from the car park - that goes to a private property and may lead to you rougher terrain.
This cache works best when you just follow the arrow on your GPS!
You are looking a large Tupperware container with LOTS of swag and Travel Bugs so bring the kids!
The area is one of our favourites in the New Forest due to its beauty all-year round and its relative tranquillity.

*21/09/2018* "Count the stiles" clue removed as the number changed more often than we visited the cache (if you still have the old clues, a=27). Clues and cache description simplified to encourage more geocachers to find it. Difficulty rating reduced to reflect this change. Cache has not moved but hint has been changed since there isn't much left of the hollow now. Checksum also updated.
