A drive along a secondary road into farming country with the Ottawa River in view at times. This cache is located just across the road from Westmeath Provincial Park. The cache container is a camo painted PB jar.
The Westmeath Provincial Park is located on the banks of the Ottawa River. There are no visitor facilties however, hiking, boating, swimming and nature walks may be enjoyed. This cache is located just across the road from this park and should be winter friendly depending on how much snow we get. You may have to climb over the snow bank the plows will leave though. You can pull off and park on the side of the road but please watch for traffic. This is not a busy stretch of road but there is still traffic at times. Please place the cache back just as you found it. There is a log book, pen and other items in this cache. Feel free to take something and drop something off in it's place.
