C-Mass Geofest - Flotilla Event Cache

7/21/2019 9-9:30am Join us at Lake Siog at the posted coordinates. Here we will have cider and donuts at the boat launch and discuss kayak geocaching. There have been 18 new geocaches placed for this event. After the official event ends, most of us will take a paddle down the Quinebaug River East Branch to East Brimfield Lake. This is a nationally designated National Recreational Trail with no portages and approximately 5.5 miles in length. We were able to complete this journey in 3 hours car to car while placing caches. If you plan on attending, we suggest partnering up with someone who can also transport your kayak. We suggest parking the second vehicle at East Brimfield Lake (see coordinates) This is our sixth event of the week.
