This is a family friendly wherigo that takes place along the Long Branch Trail at Rutherford Park. The entire hike is about a 1.5 miles round trip. You must have a Wherigo-enabled device to find this cache; it is NOT at the posted coordinates.
The NoVAGO PD has requested that you meet with a super-secret society, the Royal Order of the Holy Mackerel, who is in desperate need of your help with their investigation of the strange supernatural activities at Rutherford Park, a former research facility of Diamondlog Enterprises. At this facility, Diamondlog Enterprises was conducting a top secret program called the Isosceles Project, which upon completion, would revolutionize the Geocaching world. A shortcut between caches? A faster way to a FTF? Who knows? Whatever dastardly deeds Diamondlog Enterprises was up to, the Isosceles Project was huge failure, and the project was abruptly shut down. Li'l Gideon Charles Gleeful, the former CEO of Diamondlog Enterprises had nothing to say about the matter except "I’ve been betrayed! This isn't over. This isn't the last you'll see of li'l.... ol'.... me...." Since then, the research facility in this area has been torn down, buried, and turned into the lovely park that you see here today. However, the residents in the surrounding community have reported seeing instances of unnatural creatures and oddities appearing in this park, which suggests that the Isosceles Project was not a failure as previously reported.
In addition to helping The Royal Order of the Holy Mackerel with their investigation, they have offered to analyze the evidence that you have gathered in the NoVAGO Murder Mystery Series in their very famous geocaching crime lab! A unique keyword (or words) is required to unlock the crime lab stage, but if your investigation is thorough, you will have no problems unlocking it. To receive the directions on how to obtain this password, you have two options (both options return the same info):
1) Include the keyword or words in any order, with a single space in between, from the 2016 NoVAGO Murder Mystery Series Caches #5, #7, and #8 in the subject line of an email to 2016.novago.mystery@gmail.com. An automated reply will provide you detailed information.
2) Download the following password-protected pdf file and create the password thusly: In all lower case, and without spaces alphabetize the words and enter the key word or words. So if the words were ball, cat, and apple respectively then password would be appleballcat.
