The trail is fairly kid accessible, and there are lots of dogs walked here. We think this is above the flood level, but you never know around here.
Although rattlesnakes are rare, do look out for poison oak. You can continue the hike to the Come Away For Awhile cache
People park along the road, but if that is full, you can park at Skofield Park, which is east along the road.
