Geocache Description:

Norsk: Denne cachen er ein mellomstor cache med blyant, logg og bytteting English: This cache is a medium cache with, pencil, log and things to change.

Grjotlandsbrua Norsk: Cachen er lagt ut på ein stad der du lett kan finne den. Den er plassert ut ca. 30 meter frå E16. For dei som er interessert i fisking er Strandaelva ein fin plass å fiske. Dei siste åra har brua vore truga av store ismassar frå elva, og det har då vorte nytta helikopter med ei jernkule hengjande til å knuse isen. Brua har heldigvis ikkje blitt tatt av isen endå. Brua vart restaurert i 1941 og i 2007. Ivar S. Grjotland, Ole Fletre, Ivar O. Grjotland og Nils Nesheim var dei fire som bygde brua i åra 1883-1893, og dei eigde og brua. Den historiske brua vart teikna av Anders Løne. Grjotlandsbrua er ikkje ei hengebru, men ei skråstagbru. Meir fakta om brua kan du finne på ei minnetavle/minnestein like ved Grjotandsbrua. English: You can find the geocache on the place were you easily can find it. It is located from about 30 meters from E16. If you are interested in angling Strandaelva is a good place to fish. The last years the cage has been threatened from big mass of ice. It has been used helicopter with a heavy iron bullet for smashing the ice. Luckily the cage has survived the ice. The cage been restored in 1941 and 2007. Ivar S. Grjotland, Ole Fletre, Ivar O. Grjotland and Nils Nesheim var the four who build the cage, and they also own it. The historical been drawed of Anders Løne. Grjotlandsbrua is not a suspension bridge, but a skråstagbridge. More facts about this cage can you find on a memorial plaque nearly the Grjotlandsbru.
