Geocache Description:

Short walk of paved road. Moderate to steep incline to cache. Local weather could be a factor. Rural conditions always to be considered.

North to Nowhere

This cache is located north of the little berg called Northport. Northport really was just at the junction of two highways in the central panhandle. It has at times supported some small stores and even a school. Now mostly a ghost town with a few houses in different states of repair or disrepair.

The reason for the name?  While caching the area I ran onto this paved road (rather nice one I might say.) Being the adventurous type (geocacher you know!) I took off north to find where this road ended up.. Low and behold, it just went nowhere. Just goes on north, a couple zigs, a couple zags, and you just run out of pavement. After that the road looks a little skinny and not much traveled. But any way it was a nice drive and a good spot for a cache.

Other hides close, 'On The Way..' & ' School Days #1'.

As usual hide as good or better.
