[LT] Lobis paslėptas šalia Švč. Mergelės Marijos Dievo Motinos Ėmimo į dangų bažnyčios, dar vadinamos Vilniaus Pranciškonų (mažesniųjų brolių konventualų) bažnyčia. Jau Mindaugo valdymo metu pranciškonai gyveno Lietuvoje, o Gediminas jiems buvo pastatęs bažnyčią. Karų su kryžiuočiais metu ji sudegė, 1421 m. atstatyta nauja gotikinė bažnyčia, vėliau perstatyta vėlyvojo baroko stiliumi. 1864 m. bažnyčia buvo uždaryta ir paversta archyvo fondų saugykla. Pranciškonams bažnyčia sugrąžinta prieš antrąjį pasaulinį karą, po sovietinės nacionalizacijos vėl paversta archyvo saugykla. 1992 m. ją iškrausčius, pradėti moksliniai tyrimai, 1998 m. grąžinta konventualams, pradėti remonto ir restauracijos darbai.
[EN] The cache is hidden near Vilnius Franciscan Church. Franciscan Church is one of the oldest in Vilnius, also known The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The church was built in 1421. At first, it had gothic style. It suffered from several fires in 17-18 centuries. The church was reconstructed in late baroque style in the 18th century. After 1812 war the church was repaired. Franciscans were punished for active help for 1863 rebels and lost the monastery and church buildings. The church from 1864 served as archive warehouse. Franciscan monks retrieved the church during interwar period. Soviets nationalised the church and used as archive warehouse until 1992. Since 1998 the church returned to congregation.
