Peg Leg Pooch Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Snotty Dog: Between the blackberries and growing trash piles, I’m archiving this one. I’ll return with pruners, to reach & retrieve the cache. It will be interesting to compare the paper log to those online.

Geocache Description:

Ammo can in the woods.

The cache is in honor of the three-legged (peg leg) pooch that lives at the corner of Jacktown & Farmington. He runs like the wind along the fence line, turning pirouettes as he sprints.... all on three legs. Be sure to drive by and admire his talents!

The Peg Leg Pooch in the cache is a permanent part of the cache - feel free to admire/photograph him, but leave him in the cache. The other canine items are SWAG; help yourself. Please leave only similar SWAG.

If you spot the pooch for whom the cache is named after, be sure and mention it in your log.

8/18/12: Sadly, someone removed the Peg Leg Pooch from the cache (though it was clearly noted that it belonged in the cache), so the only one you'll be able to see is the real one, down the road.

If the pull-out is being used as an illegal dump, it can be reported to Washington County (non-emergency) at 503-629-0111. State that it is on SW Jacktown Rd., close the Hackett Lane. Hopefully, if enough calls are received, something will be done.
