Geocache Description:

Warning: 4WD is required on this cache. It's going to be sandy towards the end of the track and soft in parts so be prepared.
Sometimes the road has some deep ruts that can rattle the fillings out of your teeth and other times it's smooth as silk.

Acraman's Creek is a great spot for a picnic in the nearby shelter or a BBQ on the beach.

This little known place is a favourite of the locals at nearby Smoky Bay at certain times of year because the Australian Salmon seem to really love this place (bring a fishing rod to do some casting with a silver spinner if you can).

The locals like to set up picnic tables and chairs, a BBQ, a well stocked Esky and sit catching multitudes of Salmon straight out of the creek and onto the BBQ. There's a nearby fish cleaning station which is very well used.

You can drive a short distance beyond the cache on the track or along the beach at low tide but be aware that when the tide comes in, it swallows up the beach path so keep your eye on that if you're parked on the beach. During summer months, there are also occasional snake sightings.

Cache is a 1.2L Sistema packed to the Brim with goodies for the kids.

Enjoy the adventure!!
