Högarör Traditional Geocache
Kråkan: Under en långpromenad under julhelgen besökte jag min cache, Ljungbys äldsta. Tyvärr visade det sig att den var borta. Jag arkiverar därmed denna cache.

There is a path up the hill to the old cairn. Stig uppför kullen till gravhögen. En del av den forna utsikten är tillbaks då "Gudrun" farit fram här.
The cache is placed nearby a 3500-year old burial cairn from the Bronze Age. According to the legend a treasure is buried in the cairn and guarded by a dragon. This place is one of the places that is promoted by the local authorities as part of the "Land of Legends". In the town of Ljungby there is a Museum of Legends, if someone wants to follow it up even further.
The container is an ordinary Curver-box and it includes from the start:
-a small ball
-a CD about digital photos
-an ice-scraper for the car
-two gadgets for your keys
-a ruler
- a plasic moose
Gömman är placerad i närheten av Högarör, en 3500-år gammal bronsåldershög. Enligt sägen ska det finnas en skatt under stenhögen som bevakas av en drake. Högarör är en del av flera utflyksmål i kommunerna Ljungby, Älmhult och Alvesta som marknadsförs som Sagobygden. Den som vill kan besöka Sagomuseet i centrala Ljungby för mer information.
