Geocache Description:

I was exploring the Intervale (with caches in my backpack) and this looked like a good home for a hide. You will find this cache near the trail. The distance as the crow flies will be .89 from your car, making this whole trip to the next cache and back approximately 2 miles. Very easy, flat trail. And even more good news---this is a good old AMMO CAN.

THe Intervale is such a lovely place. I hope you enjoy your trip here. Historically, some portions of the Intervale have been the site of many homeless camps. Since my caches seem to attract encampments (if I hide it, they will come!) I decided to stay really close to the trail with these. Even when the weather warms up, I don't think you will have any issues due to the caches close proximity to the trail.

While I was placing this cache the area was teeming with crows, cawing, flapping, flying, and generally kicking up a fuss because I was there. Crows are considered to be some of the smartest animals on the planet. Not only can they use tools, they can construct them as well. These mysterious, common black creatures have lots of fascinating characteristics. But you came here for cachin' not learnin'! Have a good time!
