[Català] La sèrie "A TREMP, PAREM" o ATP, vol ser un petit conjunt de geoamagatalls pensats per mostrar els punts més significatius del terme municipal de Tremp. Tremp, capital de la comarca del Pallars Jussà i també el terme municipal més gran de tota Catalunya, té una gran quantitat de punts d'interès que molts cops passen desapercebuts pel viatjer, que passa només de pas camí d'altres punts del Pirineu lleidatà.
Esperem que aquesta sèrie que anirem creant poc a poc sigui d'interès per a tots els viatjers, i els ajudi a veure racons i punts d'interès d'aquesta zona tant desconeguda del Pre-Pirineu. Així que...

ATP02 – PONT DE SANT JAUME
Pont d’origen romànic remodelat a començaments del S. XVIII, fou construït per comunicar la población amb l’antic Convent de Sant Jaume, tot salvant el barranc de les Gesseres o Adoberies. Aquest convent de pares dominics va se rconstruït al s.XV i sa va mantenir fins al 1835. El 1903 es va aprofitar l’espai per construir-hi un centre d’acolliment conegut com la Casa dels Pobred. Actualment és la seu de l’alberg del Pallars Leon Sorando.
A través del pont es pot accedir, barranc amunt, a l’antic barri de les Adoberies on, aprofitant les aigües que hi baixaven, s’intal·laren diversos tallers que adobaven pells. Es diu que el gentilici de Tremp podria proveïr d’aquest ofici (trempar la pell).
Pont de quatre ulls separats per pilars de gran alçada, que salven el profund desnivell que presenta el barranc de les Adoberies en aquest punt. De la seva obra destaca la qualitat del carreuat, de petit tamany i en disposició isodòmica, i la configuració dels ulls, amb arcs de mig punt o lleugerament apuntats (del tipus punt d'ametlla) conformats perdovelles regulars.

[English] The series “At Tremp, we stop” means to be a group of geocaches to show the most significant points of Tremp. The capital of the Pallars Jussà region which is also the biggest among Catalonia, has a lot of points of interest that most of the times are unnoticed to the traveller, which is only passing by leading to other points of the Pyrenees.
We hope that this series that we are going to create little by little will be interesting to all travellers and helps them to see places and points of interest of this little-known region of the Pre-Pyrenees. So this is why…

ATP02 – SANT JAUME BRIDGE
Romanesque Bridge remodelled in the early s. XVIII, was built to communicate the down town with the old convent of Sant Jaume, avoiding the drops of Gesseres and Adoberies. The Dominican Fathers convent was built in the early s.XV and remainded until 1835. In 1903 the space was used to build a shelter known as “poor’s house”. Now is used as the Leon Sorando Pallars youth hostel.
Across the bridge, you can access the old quarter of the Adoberies, where using water mills based leather workshops were installed. Some people say that de demonym of Tremp was originated by this activity (“trempar” as the act of working with leather).
Four eyed bridge separated by high height pillars, useful to avoid the deep slope of the Adoberies cliff in this spot. The most remarkable point of its construction is the quality of the stone-work.
