Note: The park is only available from Dawn to Dusk. Night Caching in Park Authority parks is expressly forbidden. This cache has been placed with the permission of Huntley Meadows Park.
You can park a car in the lot on South Kings Highway, near its intersection with Telegraph Road. No bushwhacking please as the park is a natural habitat. You can get very near by staying on trails and roads.
In addition to this west side entrance, the park has another entrance found by taking Lockheed west from US1. From that entrance you will find a visitor center, beautiful boardwalks etc. Either side of the park will yield great birding and wildlife viewing, as well as a pleasant reprieve from the heavily populated city that surrounds the park. Take the kids, the dogs and get out for a walk. Total distance of the walk to this cache is about 4/10s of a mile, one way. Have a great time, be mindful of the resource, be safe, and enjoy.
