Follow the marked trail to the Summit of Mt Cook.
The round trip to the cache location should take around two and a half hours if you are of average fitness.The track can get steep in places but I managed it draging along three kids. I have adjusted the difficulty rating due to log comments. This cache is challanging but I believe well worth it. The cache altitude is 1439 FT. You need to walk a short distance past the tower hut onto a rocky outcrop to see the great views to the South East.
The container is PVC pipe painted camo and contains pen, logbook, path tags and other swag items.
