This is one in a series of caches entitled "Take a Hike" that was placed by The Lynch Three between 2011-2012. There are no puzzles, no hard multi's, or no challenging hides in this series; instead, what they share in common is a good hike in the woods, enjoyable in any season.
The Lynch Three has been retired from caching for a while now, so I adopted some of this series so that others could have the same experience of taking a great hike like I once did! In my opinion, this is the best cache of the "Take a Hike" series. You will be able to take a trail to within 100 feet of the cache, if you use my trail waypoint. The reward will be spectacular views of a swamp near Sudden Pond. It's my favorite spot in the entire forest for a reason... (The Lynch Three, 2011): This cache is hidden in the Sudden Pond area of the Harold Parker. Originally I was going to hide it at Sudden Pond itself, but I decided to stretch the hike a bit, and I found another cache spot with its own water view. You'll need to do some bushwhacking toward the end, but it's not that difficult. This should be a great spot to witness the changing colors of autumn. Enjoy your hike!
