This cache is located in northern Niagara county. To find the coords to this cache you must first find two other near by caches that each have a coord to this cache. Parking is limited to the first 300 geocachers daily and the coords for parking are N43-19.941/W078-42.897 You will start the hunt in fishermans park. When you get to the parking lot you will see signs at the trailhead ,that is the only way to the cache. The trail leads to Burt Dam and some great fishing when the trout and salmon runs are on. During these runs (spring and fall), there could be a $2 parking fee. The rest of the year parking is free. The trail is easy except for the very beginning that takes you to the creek below. I have no information at this time about the history of the dam itself. The trail will lead you right up to the medium sized dam. The cache is a perminent cache being release on 7-4-07 for The All American Celebration geocaching event. Reception is shakey down here. Now the question you ask is hey Mark, How do I get the coords for this cache? Answer: Find near by caches STU-SUE (gc13wgr) and Krull Park (gc13yg6). Each of these caches have a set of coords for this cache. Night caching for Dam Burt is possible. Cache replaced on 5-18-21. Check new hint.
