The Chartwell Track is a link track from the suburb of Chartwell to the Skyline track. The track is a well formed vehicle width track open to mountain bikers and walkers.
At all fence lines there are ‘Cattle Stop’ chutes for bikers and walkers, so there is no need to open any gates.
The track joins onto the Skyline track at S41º 15.745 E174º 44.791.
There is a council signpost at S41º 15.669 E174º 45.080 where a track branches off to Otari-Wilton’s Bush
The closest Trailhead is at S41º 15.692 Eº174 45.514
