You will want hiking boots to reach the cache. There is almost a 400 foot elevation gain.
You'll be crossing some private ground so stay on the trails and don't go near either the old mine tailings, scree, or the mines themselves. The ground can be unstable in those areas but they're not difficult to aviod. Again, stay on the trails. There is partial snow-cover at this time but it's not a problem.
When you reach the cache coordinates you'll find a mini-mountain peak shaped rock about 30-36" tall. It is not near other similar rocks and is partially hidden by oak-brush. It is not difficult to find, however.
The cache is an ammo box. Inside you'll find a log, some information on the general area, a few pieces of candy in case you have children with you, and a gift certificate to Guru's, a nearby restaurant. They've been very generous and may just become our un-official Utah Geocacher's restaurant! Don't forget to thank them.
