About 2.4 miles from the Pine Valley Trailhead, each way, on he
Secret Canyon Trail. The trail is overgrown in some places; I
recommend pants and a long-sleeve shirt. Cache is off the trail,
but you don't need to leave the trail to retrieve it.
The trail is open 24/7 but I don't recommend you hike at night due
to heavy use of this trail by undocumented migrants. I started this
hike at 6a on a Sunday and did not encounter anyone. I wouldn't
start earlier than that.
