Located at the top of Big Blue mountain.
Right next to Schweitzer Mtn. is Big Blue. Often hiked during the winter for fresh tracks, this is a much easier hike without the snow.
We took the chairlift to the top of Schweitzer, then it was a 1 hour, 15 minute hike to the top of Big Blue(with an 8 year old along). Its easy to find your way there, with good trails/roads most of the way.
Watch for moose & huckleberries.
