Sandy Erosion Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

jcacher15: I was able to find the cache in a spot consistent with the last finder's description. I decided to remove it and archive this one given the instability of the area. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

I found the old cache here during my first few months of caching and really enjoyed the area. I was sad to see that cache get archived, so I decided to hide my own cache here. Please don't attempt at night, for YOUR safety!

"Erosion is when materials are removed from the surface and changed into something else. It only works by hydraulic actions and transport of solids (sediment, soil, rock and other particles) in the natural environment, and leads to the deposition of these materials elsewhere." (visit link)

The tree you will immediately notice once you get close to gz came down within a year of this cache being placed. It may seem tragic, but it's all a part of nature. Erosion, as well as many other forces of nature, are meant to happen. Just make sure to watch out so it doesn't happen while you're in the wrong place.

This cache maybe hard, but it also might not be. You might not want small children to follow you the whole way. This area is a bit dangerous. If you are an outgoing person, you will have no problem with this cache. Please keep everything as it is on the cache. The cache will open and close normally, no need to remove the external attachments. Have fun but BE CAREFUL!
