This cache is placed at the start of the trail into MiniHaHa Lake. The trail is part of the turn of the century trail which connected Dinorwic Lake with the Upper Manitou Lake where the gold mining community of Gold Rock was situated. Early miners and explorers freighted food and equipment from the community of Wabigoon by tugboat in the summer down Dinorwic Lake and into MiniHaHa Lake and then used pack horses for about seven miles through the bush to Gold Rock. You are looking for a camo'd ammo can. There is lots of free parking available nearby. Please use caution around the road way.
