The Rusty Bridge Cache Traditional Geocache
whistler & co.: We just received a note from Groundspeak asking us to archive this cache at the request of the hospital. Aparently someone's search patterns gave the hospital cause for alarm and now they are worried that someone will get hurt. We are sorry to see this one go after 5 years of fun. Thanks to all who visited and posted pics, as well as to the hospital for their generosity in letting this one remain in place for so long!

This cache is a micro located on a pedestrian bridge over the Lackawaxen River in Honesdale.
Although this bridge is only a few years old, it is rusty...it was made that way on purpose! Parking for this cache can be found in the parking lot across the street from the hospital, or if that is full, along West 11th Street (near the Turkey Hill store). The cache container is located ON, not under, the bridge. It is a magnetic key holder containing only a logbook, so bring a pen. Be careful you don't drop the cache in the river!
